Interested in taking a diving course in Hong Kong or abroad? Young's Holidays offers PADI diving courses led by experienced instructors. Our courses include the Open Water Diver (OW) and Advanced Open Water Diver (AOW) courses among others. We also provide one-stop arrangements for flight tickets and diving accommodation packages in destinations like the Philippines, Palau, Indonesia, Green Island, and the Maldives. Beginners can choose to get certified abroad or participate in a diving course in Hong Kong.
PADI Open Water Diver Course (OW)
Course Content: This course is designed for diving beginners and focuses on basic diving skills, safety knowledge, and the use of diving equipment. The course includes theoretical learning, training in calm waters, and open water dives, enabling students to confidently and safely engage in basic diving activities.
Age and Requirements: The minimum age is 10 years. Participants aged 10 to 14 will receive a Junior Diver certification, while those aged 15 and above will receive an Adult Diver certification. All participants must pass a swimming test and a medical assessment.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course (AOW)
Course Content: This course aims to enhance divers' skills and experience. It includes five different themed dives, with two mandatory dives in deep diving and underwater navigation. The other three dives can include options like night diving, drift diving, and precision buoyancy control.
Age and Requirements: Participants must have completed the PADI Open Water Diver course or equivalent. The minimum age is 12 years.
PADI Rescue Diver Course
Course Content: This course trains divers in the prevention and management of diving accidents, teaching how to handle diving emergencies. It includes self-rescue skills, recognition and management of diver stress, first aid techniques, and diving accident response.
Age and Requirements: Participants must have completed the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course and a first aid and CPR course within the past two years. The minimum age is 12 years.
