Sipadan Island is closed for conservation for a month in November every year, which also means that the water quality after conservation will be clearer and the organisms will be more abundant.

- *Unlimited dive and Night dives are unguided dive & must be accompanied by buddy in front of KAPALAI Dive Centre
- No pregnant woman are allowed by boat to KAPALAI Resort
- Diver extra night cost includes accommodation, full board meals, 3 boat dives and unlimited shore dives
- Non-Diver extra night cost includes accommodation and full board meals only
- Snorkel by boat is not available
- Semporna Private Jetty to KAPALAI Resort: 9:30AM and 12:30PM
- KAPALAI Resort to Semporna Private Jetty: 11:00AM and 13:30AM
- Tauwu Airport to Semporna Private Jetty land transfer: 8:00AM and 10:30AM
- Semporna Private Jetty to Tauwu Airport land transfer: 12:30AM and 14:30AM
- All daily entry to dive or visit to Sipadan Island will be subject to approval by the Sabah Parks Management, which is in control of issuing the entry permit. The total number of divers or visitors allowed to visit Sipadan Island is restricted to 176 pax per day.
- The closure of Sipadan Island has changed to 1 NOV 24 to 30 NOV 24 for 'Marine Life Recuperation'
