A famous attraction in Tottori Prefecture—the Tottori Sand Dunes—is Japan’s premier tourist sand dune. Stretching 2.4 kilometres from north to south and 16 kilometres from east to west, it is Japan’s largest coastal sand dune.
You must reserve a seat before boarding. There are two ways to do this:
1) Go to the station ticket office, show your JR Pass to the staff, and collect your JR reserved-seat ticket
2) Use the reserved-seat ticket machines at any JR station to make a reservation and collect your ticket, avoiding the need to queue at the ticket office.

- An essential JR Pass for travelling from the Kansai (Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe) region to areas such as Okayama, Tottori, Amanohashidate and Wakayama
- Allows travel in reserved seats on the ‘HARUKA Limited Express’, saving time on journeys to and from Kansai International Airport
- Allows travel on the Sanyo Shinkansen between Shin-Osaka and Okayama, taking just one hour to reach Okayama
- Use this pass to travel on the ‘KUROSHIO’ Limited Express to Nachikatsuura and Shingu
- Present your e-ticket and passport at a designated JR ticket machine to redeem your pass – quick and convenient

If you’re visiting Osaka, you simply must head to Wakayama to enjoy the unbeatable sea views from the open-air hot springs.

Terms & Conditions
- JR tickets operate under a registration system, with a very complicated booking process. Please ensure you provide all necessary information when placing your order. Please be aware that should any delays in ticket issuance occur due to incomplete information, or should any details need to be amended, passengers will be held responsible and required to pay a handling fee.
- Adults or holders of a rail pass may travel with up to two infants (aged 1–5) free of charge. A child’s rail pass must be purchased for the third child onwards. Infants under one year of age may travel free of charge.
- A child’s rail pass must be purchased for each infant in the following circumstances:

- Luggage regulations for carriages: Luggage must not exceed a combined total of 250 cm in height, width and length (up to 200 cm in length), and passengers may carry up to two items weighing a total of 30 kg (umbrellas, walking sticks, hand luggage and rucksacks are not included in this limit).
- Bookings are only available for travel within three months from the date of booking.
- The ticket is valid for redemption for 3 months from the date of issue (i.e. the date of purchase). Please refer to the ‘DATE OF ISSUE 発行月日’ on the electronic voucher (eMCO); the ticket will be invalid after this period.
- Tickets must be exchanging at designated counters in Japan. In addition to standard JR Green Windows, JR PASS eMCO tickets can also be collected from JR Green Ticket Machines marked with the ‘5489’ service at stations in the West Japan region.

- When exchange your JR PASS from a ticket machine, you must present a passport with an IC chip. If your passport does not have an IC chip, please exchange your ticket at a staffed counter. Please refer to the official website for further details.
- The ticket is valid for 5 days from the date of redemption; it will be invalid after this period.
- To reserve a reserved seat, please take your JR Pass to a Green Window or a reserved seat ticket machine to make a reservation (seat allocation). Please note that it is not possible to reserve a seat in advance before exchanging your ticket for a JR Pass.

- The exchange voucher will be sent electronically upon order confirmation, with one voucher per person.
- Please exchange your physical JR Pass at a designated exchange point in Japan within 90 days of the purchase date using the exchange voucher. Once you have collected your physical JR Pass in Japan, please activate it within 30 days.
- Prices are calculated based on the lowest available fares for flights, hotels and surcharges on the day of booking. Actual costs may vary due to exchange rates and availability. We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice should changes occur for the aforementioned reasons.
- Once a travel package has been confirmed, no changes can be made to any details, and no refunds will be issued for any payments already made.
- As travellers are unable to provide travel documents for our staff to verify at the time of booking, travellers must check and ensure for themselves and their travelling companions that:
- * The English names of registered travellers must match the English names on their travel documents
- * Travel documents must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure
- * Hold a valid visa for transit or entry
- * Have sufficient blank pages in the passport for immigration purposes
- To ensure a more worry-free journey, the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself whilst travelling
- The Company will not accept any refund requests from passengers who fail to board the flight as scheduled
