With the Northern Kyushu, Southern Kyushu and All Kyushu Area Rail Pass, you can make unlimited journeys on local trains, limited express trains and Shinkansen services within the Kyushu area covered by the pass during its validity period. The pass is available as a 3-day, 5-day or 7-day ticket, allowing you to choose the option that best suits your itinerary. The pass will be sent to you electronically before departure!

Usa Jingu

Usa Jingu in Oita Prefecture is said to be Japan’s first shrine. Renowned as the head shrine of the Hachiman shrines, which have over 40,000 branch shrines nationwide, it attracts countless visitors every year. Nestled within a primeval forest dating back to ancient times, the shrine is enveloped in fresh, crisp air.
You must reserve a seat before boarding. There are two ways to do this:
1) Go to the station ticket office, show your JR Pass to the staff, and collect your JR reserved-seat ticket
2) Use the reserved-seat ticket machines at any JR station to make a reservation and collect your ticket, avoiding the need to queue at the ticket office.

Eligible trains: Local, limited express and Shinkansen services (Hakata–Kumamoto) in the areas north of Kumamoto/Misumi and Oita
* Not valid on Shinkansen (Kokura–Hakata), underground railways, buses, or railways operated by other companies or organisations. - 【South Kyushu】Valid in southern Kyushu, including Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima prefectures.
Eligible trains: Local and limited express trains, and Shinkansen (Kumamoto–Kagoshima-Chuo) in areas south of Kumamoto and Oita
* Not valid on railways or buses operated by other companies or organisations.

Terms & Conditions
- JR tickets operate under a registration system, with a very complicated booking process. Please ensure you provide all necessary information when placing your order. Please be aware that should any delays in ticket issuance occur due to incomplete information, or should any details need to be amended, passengers will be held responsible and required to pay a handling fee.
- Adults or holders of a rail pass may travel with up to two infants (aged 1–5) free of charge. A child’s rail pass must be purchased for the third child onwards. Infants under one year of age may travel free of charge.
- A child’s rail pass must be purchased for each infant in the following circumstances:
① Where an infant is travelling alone in a reserved seat in a standard carriage (Standard Class Reserved Seat)
② When the child is travelling alone.
- Luggage regulations for carriages: Luggage must not exceed a combined total of 250 cm in height, width and length (up to 200 cm in length), and passengers may carry up to two items weighing a total of 30 kg (umbrellas, walking sticks, hand luggage and rucksacks are not included in this limit).
- The voucher will be sent electronically once your order has been confirmed, with one voucher per person.
- Please exchange your physical JR Pass at a designated exchange point in Japan within 90 days of the purchase date using the voucher. Once you have collected your physical JR Pass in Japan, please activate it within 30 days.

- The ticket must be exchanged at a designated counter in Japan; please refer to the official website for exchange locations
- Prices are calculated based on the lowest available airfares, hotel rates and surcharges on the day of booking. Actual costs may vary due to exchange rates and availability. We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice should changes occur for the aforementioned reasons.
- Once a travel package has been confirmed, no changes can be made to any details, and no refunds will be issued for any payments already made.
- As travellers are unable to provide travel documents for inspection by our staff at the time of booking, travellers must check and ensure for themselves and their travelling companions that:
* The English names of registered travellers must match those on their travel documents
* Travel documents must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure
* Hold a valid visa for transit or entry
* Have sufficient blank pages in the passport for immigration purposes - To ensure a more worry-free journey, the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself whilst travelling
