The pass entitles you to unlimited travel on the Sanyo Shinkansen (including the NOZOMI and MIZUHO services between Hakata and Mihara), limited express and local trains (including rapid services) in the area (unreserved seating), the JR West Miyajima Ferry, and Chugoku JR Bus services within the region.

Hakata, Tenjin
Hakata and Tenjin are arguably the liveliest areas in Fukuoka, so if you love shopping, you simply mustn’t miss them! There are plenty of shopping centres near Hakata Station, such as the 0101 Department Store, AMU PLAZA, Hankyu Department Store and Hakata Canal City.
Akama-jingu Shrine
You must reserve a seat before boarding. There are two ways to do this:
1) Go to the station ticket office, show your JR Pass to the staff, and collect your JR reserved-seat ticket
2) Use the reserved-seat ticket machines at any JR station to make a reservation and collect your ticket, avoiding the need to queue at the ticket office.
Terms & Conditions
- JR tickets operate under a registration system, with a very complicated booking process. Please ensure you provide all necessary information when placing your order. Please be aware that should any delays in ticket issuance occur due to incomplete information, or should any details need to be amended, passengers will be held responsible and required to pay a handling fee.
- Adults or holders of a rail pass may travel with up to two infants (aged 1–5) free of charge. A child’s rail pass must be purchased for the third child onwards. Infants under one year of age may travel free of charge.
- A child’s rail pass must be purchased for each infant in the following circumstances:
① Where an infant is travelling alone in a reserved seat in a standard carriage (Standard Class Reserved Seat)
② When the child is travelling alone.
- Luggage regulations for carriages: Luggage must not exceed a combined total of 250 cm in height, width and length (up to 200 cm in length), and passengers may carry up to two items weighing a total of 30 kg (umbrellas, walking sticks, hand luggage and rucksacks are not included in this limit).
- Valid for redemption within 3 months from the date of issue; tickets will become invalid after this period.
- The validity period is based on the ‘DATE OF ISSUE’ printed on the ticket; tickets are valid for exchange within three months of this date.
- Valid for 5 days after exchange; tickets will become invalid after this period.
- In addition to standard JR Green Windows, JR PASS eMCO tickets can be collected from JR Green Ticket Vending Machines marked with the ‘5489’ service at stations across the West Japan region. Please refer to the official website for further details.
- When collecting your JR PASS from a ticket machine, you will need a passport equipped with an IC chip. If your passport does not have an IC chip, please collect your ticket from a staffed ticket counter.

- The ticket must be exchanged at a designated counter in Japan; please refer to the official website for exchange locations
- Prices are calculated based on the lowest available airfares, hotel rates and surcharges on the day of booking. Actual costs may vary due to exchange rates and availability. We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice should changes occur for the aforementioned reasons.
- Once a travel package has been confirmed, no changes can be made to the itinerary, and no refunds will be issued for any payments already made.
- As travellers are unable to provide travel documents for inspection by our staff at the time of booking, travellers must check and ensure for themselves and their travelling companions that:
* The English names of registered travellers must match those on their travel documents
* Travel documents must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure
* Hold a valid visa for transit or entry
* Have sufficient blank pages in the passport for immigration purposes - To ensure a more worry-free journey, the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself whilst travelling
- The Company will not accept any refund requests from passengers who fail to board the flight as scheduled
