Description

The Ogasawara Islands are located in an island group about 1,000 kilometers south of Tokyo. They were included in the World Heritage List in 2011 and have always been known as the Galapagos Islands in the East. It consists of more than 30 islands, including Chichijima and Hajima. Ogasawara has a flat subtropical climate, with an annual minimum temperature of about 15 degrees and a maximum of about 10 degrees. February to April is the best time to observe whales. You can enjoy the huge humpback whales with an average body length of 13 meters and a weight of 35 tons. You may also encounter sand tiger sharks and albacores in groups. June to November is the season called Bonin Blue. The sea water is very clear and blue, and the temperature is relatively high.
Divers can enjoy the fun of diving without wearing a thick diving suit. This period of time is also a good to dive and play with dolphins for sightseeing.
Around December, humpback whales return from Alaska to Ogasawara, while sand tiger sharks swim to shallow waters, increasing the chance of encountering them when diving. It is a diving paradise for diving enthusiasts.

Day 1: Gather at hotels near Tokyo Takeshiba Pier > Take a break at the hotel
Meet up with the coach at the hotel near Takeshiba Pier in Tokyo, and have free time in Tokyo on the day

Day 2: At 11:00 in the morning, take the Ogasawara Maru to Ogasawara, and stay on board that night
The space in the economy cabin is comfortable, and there are restaurants, convenience stores, etc. in tthe ferry. You can take a good rest and get ready for the diving trip

Day 3 : Arrive at Ogasawara Chichijima pier at 11:00 am > Start diving experience in the afternoon
Diving in this clear sea is full of Mobula, sharks, turtles, dolphins, whales and a lot of colorful corals, so the Ogasawara Islands are the world's top diving destinations

Day 4 / 5 :Two dives in the morning and afternoon
From January to April every year, you can see the humpback whales
Sperm whales can be seen from May to November. In order to protect the sperm whales, the boat needs to be 100 meters away from the them
Dolphins swim in the waters of Ogasawara all year round. When they swim near you, please feel free to let them approach you. You can take this opportunity to swim with the dolphins. If you are lucky, you may even meet Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins
In every dive in Ogasawara, it is easy to see the traces of sharks and the unique sand tiger shark in OgasawaraThe wreckage of the cargo ship "Binjiang Maru", which was torpedoed and stranded in World War II, remains on the coast of "Sakaiura". You might as well jump into the transparent blue ocean to see the wreck up close, perhaps the green sea turtle living in the ship Will come out to welcome you!

Day 6 :Board the ship at 11:00 am and return to Takeshiba pier in Tokyo, rest overnight on board
There are many facilities in the ferry, and bathrooms are provided free of charge to wash away the discomfort of long-distance journeys

Day 7: Arrive at Tokyo Pier at 15:00 p.m.

  • Extended Diver Accommodation includes bed, breakfast and 2 boat dives
  • Divers must have 80+ dives, be able to handle drifts and strong currents, and have dived in the past year

  • Due to limited space on the boat, divers are not allowed to use Double Tanks BCD
  • If the pier is closed and the diving activity is canceled due to special weather conditions, the diving fee will be refunded

  • The price is calculated based on the lowest price of air tickets, hotels and surcharges on the day. The exact cost may change due to currency exchange rates and availability. If the cost is subject to change due to the above reasons, no prior notice will be given
  • Once the travel product is confirmed, all content cannot be changed, and all paid payments will not accept any refund
  • Since passengers failed to provide travel documents for the company's staff to check when signing up, passengers must check by themselves and ensure that they and their companions
